Owner Brian Noyes started doing tree work in 1993 and never stopped. Over the years, that work took him from residential properties in Southern Rhode Island to utility crews operating across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. He spent years doing high-volume subcontract work for one of the larger tree companies in New England — work that kept multiple crews busy and expanded his fleet of equipment — but his roots have always been here in Southern Rhode Island.
Heritage Tree Solutions, LLC was formally established so that Brian could bring that same level of professional expertise back to the local community that he grew up working in. The business is named after the kind of trees it serves: old, established, and worth caring for properly.
Brian has also worked alongside 3x world tree climbing champion, Mark Chisholm for multiple years at Mark’s family run business in New Jersey. We currently still do safety and work efficiency training seminars all over the world together.
Brian is a licensed arborist in the state of Rhode Island. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and the GCIA — two organizations that hold tree care professionals to a high standard of knowledge and practice.
What genuinely sets him apart, though, is what happens beyond the certification. Brian’s best friend is a three-time world champion tree climber, and together they have traveled to Europe more than a dozen times to lead hands-on instructional seminars for professional arborists. Those seminars have taken them to Italy, Norway, and throughout the United States. They train the people who train others — including, as Brian will tell you with some humor, many of his local competitors.
That kind of international experience reflects a commitment to the craft that goes well beyond the basics.
